This 5-day safari is designed to provide an immersive experience in Tanzania’s premier wildlife destinations. Day By Day

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

  • Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Relax and prepare for your adventure ahead.
  • Evening: Meet your safari guide for a detailed briefing. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Arusha.
  • Accommodation: Arusha Serena Hotel, Gran Melia, or similar.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive (~2 hours) to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. Start your first game drive upon entering the park.
  • Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and continue exploring. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, and an array of bird species.
  • Evening: Drive to your lodge near Tarangire for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park (~5-6 hours). Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views and spot wildlife in transit.
  • Afternoon: Arrive in Central Serengeti and begin your game drive in the Seronera Valley, known for its high concentration of predators. Spot lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with vast herds of zebras and wildebeests.
  • Evening: Check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Lodge or Kubu Kubu Tented Camp.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

  • Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti, focusing on resident wildlife and the iconic Big Cats. Spot elephants and buffaloes grazing in the plains.
  • Afternoon: After lunch, drive (~3-4 hours) to Ngorongoro Crater and arrive at your lodge near the crater rim for a relaxing evening.
  • Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Rhino Lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

  • Morning: Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an incredible game drive. The crater is a haven for the Big 5, with excellent chances of spotting black rhinos, lions, and large herds of buffaloes.
  • Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and continue exploring the diverse ecosystems, home to zebras, flamingos, and hippos.
  • Evening: Drive back to Arusha (~3-4 hours) for your onward flight or overnight stay, marking the end of your safari adventure.
  • Accommodation: Day-use lodge in Arusha (optional, depending on flight schedule).
